IntroductionEdidot College is a multinational, co-educational private school. It provides top-notch educational opportunities for children ages 3months to 18 years.
Students from all backgrounds are welcome without prejudice in regards to their religion, cultural heritage, language, ethnic and/or economic background.

Where is Edidot located?We are located in Badore, Ajah in beautiful and serene Lekki.
What sets Edidot apart?With the team of dedicated and hardworking teachers, we make sure students understand through the use of teaching aids and practical demonstration as well as more traditional teaching techniques. Our students embark on excursions within and outside of Nigeria to enhance their better learning. We endeavor to bring out talents in our students; they learn to play musical instruments, research topic online and are involved in experiments.
How is Edidot administered?Edidot College is administered by a board of directors, made up of academics, professionals, and executives.
What is your admission policy?Admission into Edidot is through a competitive entrance examination. An admission package must be purchased from the school. The package entitles each prospective student to sit for the entrance examination, as well as a mandatory interview of the parent(s) and prospective student.
What facilities are provided?Constant and consistent power supply though a personal transformer and backup generators All classrooms are air conditionedwith a maximum capacity of 15 students. Equipped science, applied sciences laboratories, ICT center, Music studio, Art studio, Library, Sickbay, Sports complex, Swimming pools, and School buses
What is Edidot’s curriculum like?The junior schools (Nursery and Primary)run a combined Nigerian, British and Montessori curriculum. Students are prepared for entrance into Edidot College, Lagos and into any secondary school.

Students are prepared for the Junior School Certificate Examination (JSCE), Senior Secondary Certificate Examination and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Alevel
Are your students are allowed to participate in sport activities?Our children are encouraged to participate in sports and/or aerobics. They also participate in two of the school and government mandated clubs and/or voluntary organizations. We believe through social interaction, our children develop communication and leadership skills
How are students assessed?The curricular program of each term of a session is evaluated through continuous assessment and examinations. Assignments, class work and projects are given regularly. An assessment is conducted after every four weeks of learning. At the end of every term an evaluating all-encompassing examination is taken.
How is discipline treated?Emphasis is placed on morality, discipline, having the fear of God, academic excellence, honesty, integrity, respect for themselves and other people, respect for school property and diligence. At Edidot, we teach every student to take responsibility for their own actions and to understand that rules are designed to protect both the individual and the community.
How will my child be monitored?Each child is placed under the care of a teacher (Personal Tutors). The tutor monitors the academic progress, morals and emotional development of the child and assists where necessary to ensure there are no hindrances to their learning.
Can I come to the school?Parents are welcome at Edidot, anytime. We also have several events designed specifically for parents. Such as our Parents and Teachers Forum, Open House, school activities such as; Inter-House Sports, Nigeria Week, Graduation, Christmas Carol Service etc
So all my child will do is study, sports and club activities?ESL organizes regular seminars and workshops for our students. Individuals and resource personnel in various professions are utilized in educating our students. This helps our students understand life better and grow.
Are boardingfacilities available?A secured boarding complex located less than 10 minutes from the school, provides separately for boys and girls. Boarders have house masters, mistresses, a matron and patron who monitor and assist their “home” lives.
Do students wear a uniform?Yes. All students must wear ESL uniform. Our uniforms are durable and are imported from the United Kingdom.
Is transportation available?Yes. Edidot has a fleet of school buses, which convey our students from their homes to school and back every day. 85% of our student population rides the school buses.
